Active Computer Services, established in December 2002, provides detailed, comprehensive and proactive computer services to home users and corporate clients at very reasonable and affordable prices.

Because most users are not technically savvy, it is our responsibility to provide comprehensive diagnostics, complete solutions at the least cost. We fix not only immediate computer problems but also potential problems that the user may not be currently experiencing or even be aware of. Thus, a proactive approach.

With many technologies developing and merging, we also integrate various software and hardware devices that will allow the user to maximize the use, power and potential of their computers and the internet.

About the Owner

Ronnie Miranda Ronnie Miranda graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the Ateneo de Manila University. He began his computer career in 1987 as a computer graphics artist specializing in 3D Animation for MediaBoutique Inc. He was one of the pioneering artists in computer-generated imagery (CGI) when it was first introduced in the Philippines in 1987.

Because CGI technology was relatively new and highly specialized in the late 80s, Ronnie learned on his own how to integrate and configure various proprietary software, hardware devices and video/broadcast equipment for CGI use.

By 1991, he was a consultant for several video production companies in which he designed, setup, and configured various CGI systems. With his sharp technical skills in computers and CGI, he formally established Storm Visualization and Imaging in July 1994. At that same time, the commercialization of the internet began. He then applied his CGI knowledge & skills in a new profession - website design - and won various awards in this field. In 2002, he earned his CompTIA A+ Certification.

With more than 23 years of computer experience, Ronnie has a broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies including installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and networking. He now applies and shares all his skills and knowledge through the services he provides at Active Computer Services.
